what is your favorite brand of electric coffee maker?
looking for a new electric coffee maker – there are so many types out there so i thought i’d get some opinions from my fellow yahoo-ers!
what brand do you like and why? does your have a thermal carafe and no warmer plate or glass carafe with warmer plate? how long does it keep your coffee hot?

Right, where do I start? It depends what kind of coffee you drink, when you drink your coffee and how you drink it. OK, I’ll try to cover the most important categories.
1. Quick espresso – little investment:

ESAM6700 is a fantastic machine but very expensive. The coffee you get is professional standard. However, if you are more of an espresso drinker then Lavazza A Modo Mio is a must. It is relatively cheap, extremely easy to clean and produces professional espresso.
Coffee enthusiasts will of course smirk to all these electric machines and bet on stove top or hand-pressed coffee makers that require skill and love. Some of the most peculiar are:
