Why do we use those stirrer straws in coffee?

When you drink through it, it’s too hot. It doesn’t stir the sugar. The only thing it’s good for is cream.

Coffee stirrers are disposable so the idea is to use the minimum amount of material for the maximum use (stir and drink) but of course as all disposable things related to coffee, they are more or less useless. Coffee should be enjoyed in the similar way as wine and be given much more credit. It is not just the kind of beverage you have during a break.
