The other way is to pay for each design. You can find t shirt artists for hire once again on Craigslist or at Threadless or Redbubble online. The artist can take your designs and bring them to life. The benefit of this is when you sell your shirts you keep all the money. The negative is that paying for designs can be expensive depending on the talent and experience of the artist. You may want to scout out many different t-shirt designers and find someone that does quality work at a reasonable price.
If you have great negotiation skills you may be able to pay the artist no money upfront but instead pay them a royalty anytime one of their designs sell. Something like paying them 30 to fifty percent of the total profit should be fair.The best artists aren’t likely to go for that though and its always important to get quality t shirt designers when selling funny t shirts.
