How bad is Black coffee for your teeth?
I try to avoid drinking black coffee because I’ve heard it is really bad for staining your teeth.
Does anyone know exactly how bad it is?
Are we talking about a black coffee a day turning your teeth noticeably yellow in a year? ….or ten?
My dad would drink a lot of black coffee, and his teeth were noticeably yellow over a period of time. His dentist suggested drinking through a straw, the same thing with red wine. So he did for a while, but it was too much effort. He ended up quiting cold turkey, both coffee and red wine. He got some massive headaches for a few days, but ended up being fine. =)
