What would be a good beverage with gourmet chocolate?
I am in a chocolate tasting club and we try new “fancy” chocolates every month. It’s my turn and I have the chocolates I want, but now I am looking for a drink “pairing” for two chocolate flavours. One is Chocolate Love Dark Chocolate with Orange Peel. The other is Dagoba Organic Chocolate with Lavender.
What drink would be good with each? I would like one drink for each chocolate, that will “bring out the flavor”. I am thinking along the lines of coffee, tea, or hard liquor.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Port wine goes with any good plain chocolate. For the orange choc, Black Coffee; the lavendar choc would go better with a plain black or green tea.
